Buyers can provide their own stones, components or packaging to Jinming, but the arrangement must be communicated and confirmed with the factory in advance. The supplied item needs to fit the product, production timing and agreed quality responsibility.
Why must buyer-supplied items be discussed early?
An outside stone, clasp, chain, card, pouch or box becomes part of the production plan. The factory needs enough information to check whether it fits the design, process and schedule before the bulk order starts.
Late delivery or an incompatible part can affect sampling, assembly, packing and shipment. Advance coordination lets both sides decide what must be tested on the sample.
What information should the buyer provide?
- Item description, material, dimensions and quantity
- Drawings, photographs or supplier specification
- Delivery date and shipping arrangement to the factory
- Required checks and acceptable condition
- Allowance for samples, setup, damage or rejected items

Who is responsible for quality and shortages?
The buyer and factory should agree who approves the supplied item, who replaces nonconforming or short quantities and how unused material is handled. Jinming does not apply one unstated rule to every buyer-supplied component.
Record the quantity received and the quantity used. If the supplied item changes after sample approval, confirm the new version before production continues.
How should supplied packaging be coordinated?
Packaging dimensions must fit the finished jewelry and the packing method. Cards or boxes may also need to hold chains, clasps or earring posts securely. Confirm delivery timing because packing cannot finish without the required material.
