Which appearance defects are checked?
The visual check covers scratches, pits, color difference, missed plating, poor welding, visible glue, crooked stones and burrs. The inspector should record the defect type rather than using a vague result such as “quality problem.”
How are dimensions and color checked?
Material thickness is measured with an electronic caliper; Jinming's stated tolerance is 0.1 mm. Chain length has a stated tolerance of ±3 mm. Color is checked visually against the approved physical sample. Because this is a visual method, buyers with a tightly controlled brand color should also define the viewing condition or request a more instrumented method separately.
How are logos, stones and connections checked?
Logo position is compared with the image recorded in the order. Logo size can be measured by caliper, and clarity is judged visually. Stone-set products are checked manually for loose or missing stones. Necklace clasps, ear pins, jump rings and connecting points receive a firmness check.
Is Jinming's 20% check the same as AQL?
No. A 20% factory sampling rate is not automatically an AQL plan. AQL inspection requires an agreed lot size, inspection level, sample-size code, defect classes and acceptance/rejection numbers. Buyers who require AQL should place those details in the purchase contract or inspection instruction.
What happens before packing?
Bulk goods are placed against the approved sample for a final comparison. Packaging starts only after that comparison is confirmed. Each order has an Excel inspection record, and the factory can send bulk photographs or video to the buyer before shipment.
