What is checked after polishing?
Polishing establishes the visible surface beneath later finishing. The check looks for scratches, pits, uneven areas and surface preparation that could remain visible after plating.
What is checked after plating?
The plated pieces are checked for color difference, missed plating and general comparison with the approved color sample. When an order is split into plating batches, the factory repeats the recorded equipment parameters to reduce variation.
What is checked after stone setting and welding?
Stone-set products receive a visual check for missing stones and crooked placement, followed by a manual pull test where suitable to check setting firmness. Welding is checked for appearance and strength. Serious color difference, loose stones and weak welding are conditions that trigger rework.
What is checked after assembly?
Assembly inspection covers ear posts, clasps, stone settings, jump rings and other connections. The factory uses visual inspection and a manual pull or tension test where suitable, then verifies that the chosen parts follow the approved production information.
How does production know what to make?
The production package includes the physical sample, drawings, dimensions, material, color, process and packaging requirements. The production supervisor and merchandiser communicate during production, and the order can be traced by production date, processing batch, plating batch and inspector.
Are durability tests done on every order?
No universal test should be implied. Jinming periodically selects bulk samples for a one-month wear trial. Salt-spray testing can be arranged when requested by the customer. The buyer should state any required adhesion, abrasion, artificial perspiration or salt-spray protocol in the order specification.
